Inquiry Submission By Eve

i’m going to Cambodia in less than a week with a tour operator called Intrepid. During the trip we will spend over 20 hours in buses driving among others from the capital to Angkor Wat, Battambang, Kampot and Sihanoukville.

I’ve been doing some more research about the country recently and I’ve found out that the offical websites of embassies inform about a high risk of road accidents in Cambodia. Each year among the victims are also foreigners. Some fatal examples have been described on the websites below:

– topic10401.html

– smh site.au/world/asia/melbourne-?

I was wondering what is your experience and if you have advice how to minimalise the risk?

Many thanks!
