I am currently planning a trip to Cambodia and one of my chosen destinations is the Koh Kong province (North of this province). However, the edge of this province meets the border of Thailand which happens to be on the beach. I was hoping to stay in a hotel on the beach but it is technically in Thailand, not Cambodia. My question is whether I will need a thai visa to walk over this border and stay in my hotel for a few days and then move on to other places in Cambodia or whether I’ll do without one.
