Inquiry Submission By Heather H

My husband and I are planning on cruising from Singapore to Singapore, via Bangkok, Koh Samui and also Sihanoukville in Cambodia. We need to know firstly if we need to have a visa to go ashore, as South African citizens and if yes, are they available upon arrival? The e-visa websites don’t seem to offer visas for cruise ship port arrivals. The simpler answer might be to stay aboard, but of course we really would like to be able to visit the port if we feel like it. Also not 100% sure if we may be denied boarding in Singapore if we don’t have all the appropriate visas already stamped into our passports. Will of course attempt to get an answer from the cruise line on that issue, but in any case, look forward to your helpful advice. Many thanks.
