Inquiry Submission By Susan D

Hi,

I would really appreciate it if you could please have a look at my proposed itinerary and make suggestions where you think it can be made better or added to.

Friday 9th Nov: Arrive Siem Reap 3 p.m. Will be picked up at airport by hotel’s driver. Rest of day at leisure at hotel.

Saturday 10th Nov: Take tuk tuk to National Museum, then to buy Temple 3 Day Pass, then to purchase local sim card and also to visit Artisans d’Angkor. Arrange a price with driver before setting off and ask him to wait for me at each location.

Sunday 11th Nov: Morning free to rest at hotel. 2 p.m. pick up by Community First for group tour to Kompong Kleang. Arrive back at hotel around 7 p.m.

Monday 12th Nov: 9 a.m. Tuk Tuk to Green Gecko Orphanage and School to drop off some supplies on their wish list. Lunch somewhere? Then Made in Cambodia Market.

Tuesday 13th Nov: Temples – Small Circuit – With hotel’s driver (still deciding whether aircon. vehicle or tuk tuk – will decide after experiencing a ride in a tuk tuk on previous days).

Wednesday 14th Nov: Free – Any suggestions?

Thursday 15th Nov: APOPO (Mine Detector Rats) Booked tour for 10 a.m., then to New Hope Restaurant for lunch, then to Killing Fields Museum to pay my respects.

Friday 16th Nov: Mine Detector Dogs. Tour booked for 8.30 a.m. Maybe Central Market afterwards. Any other suggestions appreciated.

Saturday 17th Nov: Temples – Big Circuit plus Bantaey Srei.

Sunday 18th Nov: Nothing planned. Depends on how tired I am. Any suggestions?

Monday 19th Nov: Morning at hotel. Depart Siem Reap at 3 p.m. for 6 nights in Kuala Lumpur.

As I’ve mentioned in previous posts, my mobility isn’t the best and I get tired very easily, so I’m trying not to cram too many things in.

I know that I’ll be too tired to go out at night so I’ll be spending my evenings at the hotel. Ideally, I’d like to be back at the hotel in the late afternoon also so that I can have a dip in the pool and relax.

I’m flexible with my itinerary apart from prior bookings for the Sunday, Thursday and Friday.

Any input would be gratefully received and many thanks in advance.

Sue
