Inquiry Submission By AniG8613

We are visiting Siam Reap for 3.5 days during 1st week of December. I have a tentative itinerary in mind:

Day 1: Our flight lands 8.30 am in the morning. I am assuming that we will require several hours going to the hotel, checking in and getting refreshed before we can go out. We will get a 3day Angkor pass but I do not have any plans for the afternoon. Any suggestions will be welcome.

Day 2: Sunrise at Angkor. Grand circle.

Day 3: Kbal Spean, Banteay srei and Banteay samre (is it possible to also do Beng Mealea on the same day)

Day 4: Temples belonging to small circuit but not grand circuit. Then let afternoon we leave for Phnom penh.

I assume that we will require to hire a car on Day 3 but tuktuks will be sufficient for the other days. Do you recommend booking them in advance may be through the hotel or is it okay to book them once we reach there.

Also, for the journey from Siam Reap to Phnom penh we had contacted a rental car service. They gave us an estimate of 140$ for a minivan (we are a group of 5 and hence can not fit in a regular 5 seater). Is that reasonable or too high? Or do you recommend booking a car via our hotel at Siam Reap.

Thank you in anticipation.
