Inquiry Submission By reginarose

My husband and I are scheduled to visit Siem Reap for three days as part of a 3-week trip that includes travel to Thailand and Vietnam, which we’ve planned entirely on our own (ie, hotels, tours and flights are likely non-refundable). As no travel advisories are in place for these countries, I thought we were in the clear…until I saw this article yesterday: which essentially says experts believe certain SEA countries are under-reporting cases of coronavirus and that it’s “statistically implausible” there aren’t more cases. If the decision isn’t made for us before we depart (by airline or government), how big of a risk are we taking to continue on with our vacation? I want to make the smart choice based on the available information but am starting to doubt whether I can trust the official info! Thanks!
